This Privacy Policy explains what information ClearAITools (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects when you visit clearaitools.com and use our tools, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language because we serve visitors from all over the world.

- Ratings and reviews: if you rate the whiteboard animation maker after exporting a video, we receive your star rating and any optional comment you choose to write. Ratings and comments may be displayed publicly on our site.

Information collected automatically
- IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and language.
- Pages visited, links clicked, time spent, and the website that referred you.
- Date and time of visits, and basic technical logs from our hosting and security providers.
- Cookie and advertising identifiers, as described in sections 5 and 6.
Information we do not intentionally collect
We do not ask for sensitive information such as government IDs, payment card numbers, or health data, and we do not require an account to use our tools. Please do not enter such information into any tool.

We do not sell your personal information for money. We do not use the content of your documents or images for advertising.
5. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We use Google AdSense to display ads that help keep ClearAITools free. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to show ads, limit how often you see them, measure their performance, and, where permitted, personalize them based on your visits to this and other websites.
- Consent: for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, we use a consent management platform certified by Google. Ads that rely on cookies or personalization are only shown according to the choices you make there. 6. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. We use:
- Essential cookies to keep the site working and secure.
- Analytics cookies (for example Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use the site.
- Advertising cookies set by Google and its partners (section 5).
- Local browser storage to remember small preferences, such as a rating you have already given. This stays on your device.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can manage consent through our consent banner. Blocking some cookies may affect parts of the site. To opt out of Google Analytics, you can use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. Some browsers also send a “Global Privacy Control” or “Do Not Track” signal; where the law requires, we treat a Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out request.
7. Who we share information with
We share information only with service providers and partners that help us run the site, and only as needed:
- Google (AdSense, and Analytics if enabled) for advertising and analytics.
- A third-party AI provider that generates results for our AI text tools.
- Cloudflare for content delivery, performance, and security.
- Our hosting and email providers to store site data and deliver messages.
- Authorities or advisers when the law requires it, or to protect our rights, users, or the security of the site.
- A buyer or successor if the site is transferred, with the same level of protection for your information.
These providers process information under their own privacy policies or on our instructions.
8. International transfers
We and our providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on safeguards such as the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or the providers’ participation in recognized data transfer frameworks.
9. How long we keep information
- Contact messages: up to 12 months after we resolve your request.
- Comments and ratings: for as long as the related page or feature is online, unless you ask us to remove them.
- Server logs: up to 90 days.

10. Your rights and choices

- receive your information in a portable format;
- withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing; and
- complain to your local data protection authority.

11. Additional information for US residents
If you live in California or another US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request access, correction, or deletion, and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money. However, advertising cookies from Google and its partners may count as “sharing” under some laws. You can opt out by using our consent or privacy settings link, by visiting the opt-out tools in section 5, or by emailing [CONTACT EMAIL]. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
In the last 12 months, we collected the categories described in section 2 (identifiers, internet activity, and information you submit), for the purposes described in section 4, and disclosed them to the categories of recipients in section 7.
12. Children’s privacy
ClearAITools is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Links to other websites
Our pages may link to other websites that we do not control. We are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our tools, partners, or the law change. We will change the “Last updated” date at the top, and for material changes we will make a clear notice on the site.
